Greetings Art.

As a way of introduction, I am Vice President of the Tri-Cities Soccer Referee Association and responsible for the organization and conducting of the 2008 U14-15 LPT Referee Development Camp to be held in Pasco, WA starting the evening of Friday, May 30 and continuing through the May 31-June 1 weekend of matches.

I have been coordinating the activities of this Camp with Roberto Alvarez of the Washington State Referee Committee and together we have prepared the attached draft pamphlet for your review and sharing with your fellow referees in your Association.

The first weekend will have upwards of 75-80 high caliber matches each day and we need a strong cadre of capable referees to share the load.  For your Association, I am expecting that you will provide about 20 referees who are willing and committed to participating in this Referee Development Camp (Friday evening through the Sunday's matches).

As you can well imagine, the logistics for putting on this type of successful event are considerable.  Therefore, I request that you provide me with a list of names (including current USSF Grade and contact email address and phone number) of those referees that want to improve their knowledge and skills and attend this worthwhile Camp.

Please respond back to this request by Monday, April 28, 2008.

In the meantime, you can contact me either by email or my cell phone (which also serves as a PDA for my emails) if there are questions that I can answer for you, or your fellow referees.

THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT ! ! !
