Referees:
We hope to be in good shape for referees.
However, there will be games that are not covered, it happens every
season.
I encourage you to get the game played if
possible. If you can find a volunteer to do the game I pay them $30.
Just get their name and address so I can send them a check.
Captains should bring a whistle, paper and pen to
their matches just in case. If the teams are not comfortable playing each
other without a licensed referee due to the level of play, or other factors,
then do not play the game and we will try to reschedule.
Players Cards.
All player must be registered with the state
office, WSSA, to play in our league. Cards may be purchased at Play it
Again Sports at 2802 W Nob Hill. Players receive a temporary card
and may play until WSSA mails their card. The referee are instructed
to pick up player cards before the game and return them at the end of play,
unless they keep them due to a Red Card.
Bill Patterson is the GYASA President and should be
contacted regarding questions and scheduling. 961-2354
